For those who suffer from painful joints or are recovering from a recent surgery, aquatic rehabilitation is a form of physical therapy that can help alleviate pain.

The water is heated to a minimum of 91 degrees to help increase blood flow during treatment. The use of water also counters the effects of gravity on the joints, providing you with a wider range of motion while reducing any potential swelling. With our pool rehab services, you may find yourself getting stronger and able to do more at home.

THE BENEFITS OF AQUATIC THERAPY

Aquatic rehabilitation offers many benefits over bed rest for those dealing with pain. These benefits include:

1

REDUCED PRESSURE ON THE JOINTS AND SOFT TISSUE

2

INCREASED BLOOD SUPPLY TO LIMBS AND MUSCLES

3

REDUCED SWELLING IN THE JOINTS AND SOFT TISSUE

4

DECREASED GAMMA FIBER ACTIVITY WHICH INHIBITS SPASTIC MUSCLES
